Images of what I have found. I was assuming this is a head gasket, but I am not entirely sure as the engine oil and coolant in the thermostat housing appear to be clean. Any ideas?

It's most likely due to the fluid just sitting there for a long time. I would remove the overflow and flush it all out and add a little fresh coolant and check again in a few days.

That is great to hear. Indeed, prior to me picking the car up, it had sat for some time. I will flush it out as I am cleaning everything up under the hood anyways.
