I just wanted to get some thoughts on a turbo I am having built. As far as possible hp and street manners.

I am having an Evo 316g machined to accept the extended tip billet 7 blade 20g wheel. I am going to use the 9 blade tdo6sl2 turbine shaft and keep it in a 7cm turbine housing that has been machined to accept the larger tdo6sl2 turbine wheel .

I'm trying to break the 400 whp barrier. I hoping this turbo will make some good power. I was wondering if anyone else has run this same setup?

I'm running an evo 3 16g and estimating about 380 crank up on e85 and 23psi on 40lbs/min. Very conservative tune. I don't see why u wouldn't reach your goal. What is the airflow for that turbo?

I actually don't know the airflow. I know the HTA 68 7cm flowed 47 pounds a minute. But they used the tdo5h wheel in that turbo. This turbo is going to use the tdo6sl2 9 blade. I'm really excited about the turbo and I'm waiting to try it out. I had the HTA 68 8cm recently on my car and I did like that turbo. So basically I will be able to at least feel the differences in the spool and top end power. I sold that hta68 though and stepped down to the evo3 eBay turbo. Which has somehow been hanging on to all my abuse? But we have a no prep race coming up where they have one class that is all hard tires no drag radials or cheater slicks allowed.
So I purchased this turbo to make more power for that race. I'm going to strip the car down for the race to lighten it up. And try to get everything sorted out.
The race is on a drag strip that has been closed for the last two years. Actually, it's the track in the photo. It closed two years ago. I'm not worried about the 2 wheel drive cars but if there is any other AWD's there I maybe in for it.
