Ok so I drive a 2gb eclipse gsx and on my way to the store I noticed my turn signals don't work my back tail lights still work its just the turn signals that don't work any Ideas of what it could be???

So I tried the hazards and they did work I let them on for a while I tried turning the turn signals and now the right one stays on at all times when the car is on and the left one does not work at all :ohdamn:

I'm having the exact same problem just haven't had time to trouble shoot it. Hopefully I can get on this in the morining. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Had the same problem in my 97 gst. The turn signal switch broke. Inside the turn signal switch box there are abunch of metal contacts. on the turn signal part there is a plastic piece that sticks out that moves the contact back and forth. If you take off the top plastic cover on the steering column there should be 2 screws holding the turn signal switch on and a plug. Take those off you should be able to hear the piece rattling around. There kinda pricey, i think like 80 bucks new.

As the guys said above the turn signal switch some times just brakes since is al plastic inside when this happen to me tho the problem was the fuse the one that is under the dash drive side "turn lamps" even if the fuse looks ok just replace it is a 10A fuse. And yes is a dedicated fuse for turns and another for hazards.

Similar problem on my GST 1995.
Sometimes turn signal stops working after a few seconds, and if I am lucky work again after another few seconds.

I tried to turn on hazard, exactly the same.
When turn signal doesn't work, hazard and arrow on dashboard don't work neither.

Any idea?

That broke on mine once. I took a cotter pin and cut it to be about the same length and fixed it with that LOL. Still works, 7 years on.

That sounds like a bad relay or a wiring issue.

Edit : I just realize the guy above brought this thread back from a while ago haha.
