So I take it this could be my reason for running shitty? And probably the misfire?Yes, you need to check that and change the spark plug order. That is a 97+ sensor.

You are correct but jakk220 has been on my previous thread and knows what's going onNo one can really tell you if that is the reason it runs sh**ty without knowing what all is going on with your car.
Did u change any thing or did it always run like this?[/QUOTEon went from safc-2 to dsmlimk
Went from safc-2 to dsmlinkDid u change any thing or did it always run like this?
I'll post one when I get to my computerPost a log maybe we can see something you don't at idle
No won't start. At work now so.wont be able to mess with it till this weekendMine will do that every so often too. Usually once or twice and then it will start with no problems. I always just thought maybe my starter was getting weak or something. It wont start at all?
Was told it's a firing order issue making it do thatNo won't start. At work now so.wont be able to mess with it till this weekend
Ahaha didn't even think to.lpok at that on the order forms. What model year is the ECU from?
Yes it is I didn't realize till I just went and looked at my invoice from them. Will be switched back tomorrow. Probably gonna be mis firing again and I'll have to trace it down. Don't know what to do next I've tested everything dealing with misfire and everything is goodI guess what I'm reading there is that it is a '97 ECU? If that is the case, you should not select anything in Link and should be using the original plug wire order with the CAS you have.
This is the only . code I getI assume you're getting the random misfire code and not a misfire code for a specific cylinder? And the P0300 is the only code you're getting?
Not sure on the grounds I'll check them but I'm assuming they are good seeing that it was running fine till I put ecmlink ecu in...I guess i just assumed it was a 95-96. That's my fault. Hmm. What about engine grounds?
Yes I moved cylinder one injector to cylinder 2 and the code stayed put on cylinder oneI figured it was a misfire code based on the original question. Anyway, troubleshooting for an injector circuit malfunction is pretty straightforward. Have you tried moving the injector in cylinder 1 to a different cylinder to see if the code changes?
Also checked wire continuity, resistance, check resistor pack everything is good as far as I can tellI figured it was a misfire code based on the original question. No I can't say that I have, only manual I have is a chiltons if you have a link I'd gladly appreciate it though. Trying to narrow down before I send my ecu backIt can only be one of so many things. Have you checked to ensure all the terminal pins are making good contact in the circuit? Checking continuity in the wiring is fine but if you are doing this by unplugging the connectors anywhere, you could be missing something. Outside of that, the ECU could be suspect -- did you go through the inspection procedure (#49, on page 13A-236 of the '97 FSM electrical copy) for the injector circuit?
Thanks man I'll go through all this tomorrow and see what happens and will be sure to let you knowTo be thorough...
