This is definitely my favorite thread to look through, I love seeing what people do to their cars and everyone's rides are looking great! I am currently still looking for the right DSM to pick up, I am being picky this time since the last time I rushed into buying a car I've regretted it ever since..

Haven't posted in awhile due to work and being in the garage every night working on the car. Deleting ac, wire tuck, shaving the engine bay and sending it off for paint. Then start assembling the street terror build.

Today I repainted and lubricaded my brakes. It's really difficult to do where I live because of the cold weather and lack of a heated garage LOL. I always seem to have the stubborn bolts that are rusted on and difficult to break loose. I think that it went well although I only got don't the front so far.

What did you end up buying before? And are you looking to buy a 1G or 2G?

Took its tubular header off and had the turbo flange welded up after finding it was cracked half way around only to find out THAT warped the flange so dropped it off at the machine shop to true it up again, patted it on the roof and said "It's gonna be alright girl...".

Pulled my Talon out of its 3 year hibernation. Washed it and drove around for a bit. Now getting it shipped off our next destination.

Cursed at it. Then I felt bad and went looking at turbos. Then I decided this crap is getting out of control in terms of cost. So I cursed at it again.

Now I am trying to convince myself that a 68HTA is a great turbo for the price, because I like bring my fiance to McDonald's on Valentine's Day and stuff.
Love my 68hta, great turbo for the price and the turbin housing is top notch if you ask me. Well worth it, take her to McDonald's in the car!

I just painted some of the intercooler piping on mine today, j-pipe is still hanging up curing.

I don't think this thread will ever die, LOL. I deleted the evap system and a/c. Now I'm tempted with repurposing the a/c expansion chamber(silver can on the a/c on the driver side under the lights) to a modded oil catch can. Also took out the cruise control module because it never worked. Sooner or later I'll get to the carbon fiber hood repair and replace the window. Had a boo boo going down the highway and the hood wasn't latched 100%. It popped up to say hi. Took out my windshield and dented my roof. Got hood latches shortly after.

Got the header and V-band exhaust all bolted back up after wrapping both to combat heat. Also moved the oil cooler to the stock SMIC location.

Got all the pesky emissions stuff out of my engine bay, replaced the mdp sensor with a map sensor replaced ask my shift bushings with metal bushings. Tomorrow will be my fic 1120 injectors BLT then hitting the highway for some 3rd gear tuning

Watched it pass a BLT, then still run lean at idle no matter how I adjusted the VE table.... so I'm shipping it off to a tuning shop now. It's dead to me right now haha.

Installed my ARC-2.

I re-torqued the lug nuts after installing new stainless brake lines, one of the last sets of ingalls rear control arms, and a set of Stoptechs in place of the Baers, and SD.
