So I was driving the car perfectly fine for about 100 miles now and there has been oil in the motor for sure so I know it's not that and last night I was driving it perfectly fine no knocking at all went out and got in my car this morning and started knocking right away and noticed my oil gauge was on 10 and didn't move so I babyed it home bout a mile if so keeping it at 1000rpms barely hearing the knocking a drained the oil thinking there was none in the engine due to the gauge but there was bout 3 and a half qts in there why would it be knocking already when it been driving perfectly fine ????? The oil get broke down that fast in only 100 miles ??

Sorry I should have cleared it up the whole motor is new and rebuilt and I been driving the car fine last night for sure was running perfect I parked the car and slept woke up went to drive it and it was knocking but wasn't knocking last night I say the oil pump is new cuz I figured that would be the reason why the gauge isn't reading

Nothing was reused at all besides the crank pulley everything else was new imma pull the pan today and see what's going on

So the oil had a silver look to it may be because the breaking in part Imma assume but I don't see where my knocking is coming from .... The bearings didn't seem to be loose at all and trust me I know what a bad bearing feels like and there isn't any play what so ever on them besides side to side maybe 2 cm if that what would my knocking be coming from ??

Did you check bearing clearances when assembling the engine? If so what were the results?

If nothing looks obvious in the bottom end or in the head I would pull the rod cap and inspect the bearings to see what they look like.

How silver was the oil? Have any pics?

It was very silver I do not i poured it in the fire pit.. when I spun a bearing before there was metal flakes in the oil there was none this time none at all... I haven't pulled no caps at all yet didn't think I should due to there is no play what so ever in the rods not even one tap and everything is for sure right too

And I didn't check the clearance when built but I been racing the car ever since the build there wasn't not one knock at all till it sat over night

well I would not drive that motor with oil pressure that low, its just asking to chew thru the main bearings. I would figure that situation out first. perhaps that pump failed, was it OEM or aftermarket? heck perhaps the oil pickup tube came loose and isn't creating a seal for the pump to pull oil up from the pan. low oil pressure and silver glitter makes me think a bearing is getting chewed

The pump is OEM.. imma put it back together tight or something idk Imma take each bearing off and see how they look
