Where did you get the new fender liners? I think JNZ shows that one side is discontinued.

Fantastic build. Bar none one of the cleanest DSM's.

Question.. Do your tires cantact the body of the car? If not, how did you manage that? I run 18x9 plus 35 with 245/40 rubber and the tires will rub especially in the rear. My car is not too low either.

Beautiful car man! I've been following it for quite some time now. Definitely an inspiration for my white 99 GSX.

Welp,

I sold a bunch of stuff off the car, packed up, and moved to Denver.

This is how and where the car will be sitting for the forseable future.

Its been a good run! Will never get rid of the shell though.

After seeing the thread on here about someone doing a full unibody restoration, I don't think I will spend another dollar on the car until I can accomplish the same thing with it.

If anyone is in the the Denver area, keep an eye out for me and my evo :)

Peace.

I bought probably 50% of your engine bay haha. Getting close to putting the hx40 on.

I bought an Evo though, so that's been getting most of my attention!

I hope you stick to your goal of doing a full unibody restoration. Don't get rid of it!

Good luck with the new job in Denver! Thanks again man.

I think he pretty much said it was over, and that he basically wasn't gonna be focusing on it at all. If he did it be a unibody restoration.

Caught him on Facebook commenting on 2G trader...he saw my post maybe he'll update now.

Well it has been 6 months. Have you done anything with the DSM?

I am thinking about starting to put a little money aside to buy some stuff for the GSX. But with housing soooo expensive out here in Denver I don't think I will be bringing it out here for a while. It probably needs about $1500 worth of parts to be complete again. But I just want to do it right, so that means getting a ton of stuff blasted and powdercoated. Need to replace the passenger strut tower as well so just a lot of labor. I just don't have a garage to do so out here.

Thanks for the kind words!

If anyone wants to keep track on what I'm up to my instagram is @bradydings.

Peace!

That's how things were when I briefly lived in NY. Springs sucks, but nowhere near as bad as Denver. You have my pity ;)

holy cow for $1400 a month move out to ohio! you can live like a king haha. Glad you still have her Brady! p.s. its mike wagner!

The mirrors will stay haha. They pop up on the classifieds and ebay every once and a while just check for them frequently!!

Also I'm moving into a super nice 3 bedroom house in two weeks that will cut my rent in half so thats pretty exciting.

And Mike, OHIO???? LOL. Denver is perfect <3.

Man $1,400 doesn't get you very far in Northern VA/DC suburbs either....

@bettfootball
What are your impressions of braking with your ABS delete kit?

My opinions? I guess I don't really have any. Brakes fine, no issues. Wanted to clean up the bay. I don't drive it in wet weather so meh.

GOOD NEWS!!

I finally saved up some cash started up the DSM project again.

I drove back for the holidays and trailered the GSX all the way from Iowa/Illinois border to Denver, CO.

List of parts currently waiting to be installed on the car:

Brand new HX40
AEM boost/wideband/oil pressure gauges
New S90 74mm TB
New wheel bearings/hubs
New control arms up front
New axles up front
New tie rod ends
New sway bar end links

So I got it in the garage and all tidy'd up. Planning on having this on the road by the summer!

A couple big things I need to buy:

Wheels
Brembos
BOV
WG
Manifold
Fuel Rail
Intake manifold
Intake Pipe
Catch can

Finally!

super surprised that jeep could tow that car and trailer!?!? thats about 5,500lbs there. Whish my old Jeep SRT8 could have towed, I would have never sold it. That White on white tow looked pretty awesome. No more evo?

Glad to see your starting you project again. If you need any thing I have a GST part out going on right now. Might have some stuff you want. LIke a BEP housing for a HX40..

Tow rating on the jeep is 2,000lbs. LOL But it handled it fine. Its a 6 speed, 68mph in 5th for 850 miles, 12 mpg.

And yeah I saw your thread, I'm going with a T3 setup this time around with custom downpipe and all that jazz. Thanks for checking out my thread and sticking with me for all these years of me MIA LOL
