I guess this pertains only to people who don't already DD their dsm. But today i went to start my truck, and noticed a key completely bent with a 90* bend... And it was my dsm key.... Doh!

I have the keys in the ignition of the "race" car and looks like I will have that habit with the street car too

I keep my keys separate.1 House key and 1 vehicle key.. I only take the key ring I need... leave the rest at home. I would always bend them... due to the nature of my work. I hate having 15 keys in one set haha.
Everytime I bent a dsm key it would develop a crack when vent back. I had one snap in the ignition haha.

Mine definitely has that crack!

I'm going to hit a locksmith before I use the key again and I hope that they can copy it with the crack... There is light through the crack so the key doesn't sit perfectly straight. I rather it break in the locksmiths hand then bring him 2 pieces
