  1. I have my aluminum driveshaft from the driveshaft Shop for more than 5 years now and i love it. But when i first installed it under my car, the vibrations were very bad. I removed it, and i send it to a shop where they can balance it. It's perfect since.
My question is: for those who bought the same driveshaft from this shop:
Is this normal to spend 100 more bucks to have this costly unit balanced, or it comes pre-balanced for you?

Thanks in advance

Any of you guys running the DSS aluminum drive shafts have any issues with noise on decel? I've got this strange clicking noise that seems to be coming from the rear U joint. It's only on decel, and goes away (is silent) under power.

I rebuilt the rear 3rd of the stock drive shaft before installing the DSS unit. The drive shaft was silent before all of this.

If you push the clutch when you decel, is the noise goes away too? My drive shaft resonating and i got strange clicking noise too on decel when i let off gas, not each time, but sometimes.
Maybe my combo of lightweight aluminum flywheel , aluminum driveshaft and poly bushing motor mount doesn't help.
Since I have my DSS, I changed EVERYTHING to the tranny up to the rear diff, and the noise is still present. I just live with that. It's the only downside that i found on this shaft. Except that, perform like a champ.
Hope this help
