To all of you running 1gs, has anyone found a nice floor mat that they are really happy with? Something like the MacNeil Weathertech stuff...but maybe less pricey and still fit well?

I still have my stock ones, but they are starting to show their age...mostly the driver's side, but I'd like something easier to clean anyway.

I looked at some 1gs some owners use diamond plating as floor mats, but I personally think it's a bit too flashy. (I mean it is okay if you like it)
I'd opt for something less flashy.

I guess the best way for you to find what you might like is to look online
one of our vendors must have something you could use.

whatever you do, don't use the factory ones that came with the
toyota Prius's LOLLOLLOL

I have the universal weathertech mats in my dads car. They don't make the fitted ones for 1g's. They've held up great for a year now. Fitment is alright for something universal. I actually have weathertech mats in a few vehicles.

Here's the only pic I have right now, little blurry as it was at night after putting LED's in the car so the old man can see. LOL.

Reviving an old thread to keep the content located in one spot...

After looking for a long time and not wanting to bite the cost of the universal WeatherTech mats, I found some nice winter mats for the 1G on eBay that I am really happy with: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331849836656

The driver's side fit great - I just had to cut under the clutch pedal because my clutch is about to go out in my winter DSM and I have to go to (through?) the carpet to disengage the clutch completely, otherwise this wouldn't be necessary. The passenger side is a bit long from the front mount of the seat to under the dash, but I'd rather have it long and be able to cut it than not have it long enough - the sides are cut well. There are sufficient rubber nubs on the bottom to keep the mats in place (unlike what I have found at local department stores) - and they are cut so well it helps to hold them in place, too. The mats are not like Weathertech in that they will not hold water at the edges, but the hexes are deep enough to keep the moisture contained where it melts.

I like them so much, I might buy a second set for later (or even my summer DSM). I hope you find them as good of quality as I do if you choose to buy them!
