Has anyone else had an issue with their sprayers not working? Its been super cold in michigan and it seems like they just stopped working one day. Wiper reservoir is full but nothing is coming through to the windshield. Is it because the reservoir is located in the trunk, and therefore runs a higher risk of freezing? or is it something rlde entirley?

The reservoir in the trunk is for the rear wiper isn't it???? It is on mine. Check the reservoir under the hood for fluid and look for a kink in the line going to the sprayer nozzles.

Something unexpected I ran into was that local stores (recently?) started selling blue washer fluid that was labeled as "summer" mix (good to only 32 degrees) here in MN. Stoooopid! I used this back in June/July and just saw the container when I started having issues at -15. Who swaps their washer fluid depending on the season? So I had put this mix in a number of my cars and have since had to swap the fluids (so apparently I swap...but no more!).

There are two fluid containers and pumps in a 1G (not sure about a 2G): front driver's side by bumper/headlight and back driver's side by the tail light when the hatch is opened. You might want to try to turn the ignition to on (from off, avoiding "start") and running your washer pumps to listen for the noise. You might also want to lift your wiper arms so they don't add to the noise (but don't hit your wipers with you hood - LOL).

Check to see if your motors in the reservoir are working. I had to replace one & then ran some CLR in the reservoir to get rid of any buildup in the tubes & nozzle sprayer.
