So I got the head removed thanks to some guides. (First one I've ever done) Now I need opinions. I can't seem to find where the gasket itself failed, the car when I bought it was fine on the test drive, but about 40 minutes driving home and it started to overheat. It didn't shut off, it just got almost to the red and I pulled over checked the coolant and of course steam was coming out. So I filled it up and drove it again and it ran out again so I pulled over and waited for my dad to tow it home.

So now, fast forward to the head off, it's night time and I have been able to look at the head in light yet but it looks pretty burnt around the cylinder ports. I need opinions on what you think. I'll link a picture, and yes I know they have carbon build up, cylinder walls are completely fine though.
