My AC compressor belt broke on my 1999 Eclipse Spyder GS with the 2.4. Does anyone have a route diagram or instructions for the easiest way to put a new belt on? And also does anyone know what size belt or part # for the replacement?

The belt is going to go from your crankshaft pulley to your ac compressor.

Duralast Part number: 370K4

There are two positions on the crankshaft pulley for belts. The closer one to the front case/block/motor is for the AC and the further one is for the water pump and alternator.
To do this job correctly you will need to loosen your alternator belt and move it off of the crankshaft pulley as it is blocking the new belt.
Next you will need to loosen the tensioner pulley fpr the AC. It can be located close to the AC compressor I believe it is a single 12MM bolt. Note: the AC compressor doesn't move the tensioner does.
Slip the new belt over the compressor pulley and the tensioner pulley and finally the first position on the crank pulley.
When the belt is seated you will need a long screw driver/crow bar/ or a 8" extension to apply leverage to the tensioner. Apply ample leverage to make the belt tight and tighten the 12MM bolt on the tensioner which keeps the belt tight when you remove your leverage tool.
Replace the alternator belt and tighten it as well.

Buy a service manual.
