Ive made a few here recently, for a 240, and a rx7.... waterjet and some 1/4" steel plating does wonders!

So what exactly did you do? Do you have to take it off when you do an oil change or did you throw in a access panel to get to the pan? Thats what route i was thinking of doing.
 
Hate to bump such an old post but does anyone have any specs for the 2g skid plate?
I'm in the process of building a splitter/undertray that extends to the back of the engine bay. Once I've finished it I will be making measurements publicly available.
