What does the the wastegate connect to? It was connected in a three way between an intercooler pipe, throttle body and wastegate until I was replacing my feed line and I tugged it a little and just broke off. So is it good to just replace it and connect them together again or is there a better spot?

It is puzzling that your waste gate was tied in with both intercooler piping and the throttle body. Are you sure it is connected this way?

If you are running with the stock BCS or an aftermarket MBC, the waste gate would be connected to both a positive pressure source (intercooler pipe or compressor cover) and boost controller. If you were only running waste gate pressure, the waste gate would only be connected to a positive pressure source (intercooler pipe or compressor cover).

Here is the stock routing:

The "waste gate control solenoid valve" is commonly referred to as the boost controller.

the hose is coming from the throttle body and then split with the intercooler pipe and actuator. I knew it looked weird but I wasn't too concerned with it because I was fixing other problems but since I broke it by accident might as well fix it the right way

They were all connected together through that white piece but I gave it a little tug and just broke off so it's just dangling right now

Based on what information you have given, it seems like the previous owner intended to run waste gate pressure (no boost controller). If this is the case, then the waste gate only needs to be hooked up to a positive pressure source (compressor cover or barbed fitting on the intercooler pipe you have pictured). If you prefer to run with a boost controller of some sort, use the information already provided above to hook it up.

Like Urban said, you will be just fine capping the unused nipple on the throttle body.
