Hi, So I got my hands on a 7 bolt that's been sitting for 2+ years. It has intake and exhaust manifold attached on. Previous owner just said make sure to oil it up before starting it. It will be a 100 times easier to change the timing and water pump before dropping engine in. I tried to turn the crank to align tining marks but crank is completely jammed. After a day of soaking in pblaster, I finally was able to get the sparks out. Going along with an article i read, I have been adding WD 40 through the spark holes and pulleys for the past 2 days. But still nothing. I even tried to see if it would turn counter clockwise. Nothing. Please help! Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Not 100% sure about DSMs, but usually on a car if the crank wont turn you have a bad underlying issue, probably in the lower block. It's possible it's crank bearings, or rod bearings.

Pull the oil pan and take a look. It's possible water got in and rusted stuff together.

First stop!!
Completely disassemble! And check clearances.

Inspect all surfaces.
Take the time to clean all oil galleys.

If your unwilling to do any of the above.
You may just
""throw in the towel in now and save the time""

I guess I don't have a choice. Its my first overhaul and I'm a little worried about not having it on TDC before the breakdown just because it would give me good visual of how I put back everything. I will continue to post progress and ask questions. Any suggestions would help greatly.

You're best off just pulling the motor to redo everything. Pull it apart and see where the issue(s) are or is and go from there. It may be a seized piston.

If I had to guess.. Rings are probably rusted/corroded into the bores and are preventing anything from moving.
Exactly what it was, one pistons was rusted. I'm working on rebuilding now, sending out the block to machine shop to get .020 bored over this week, I've got some questions regarding the build, I'm going to start another thread to focus in on the rebuild.
