I decided to take my talon to the dyno as a birthday present to me. I went to the track last month and was able to get a 12.058 @ 117.5 mph. I think I should be able to hit mid 11's with more practice. I'm going to try using NLTS next time. I dyno'd on a Dynocom AWD Dyno (shop page here: http://uppturbo.com/dyno-tuning/). The car was street tuned by Steve up in Denver (biglady112). Great guy and super helpful. Log of the third run is attached for the curious.
Here's the dyno run. Boost level hit 28 and leveled down to 24 by redline. I bought one of Justin's holset actuators hoping to hold boost to redline, but I think the turbo just can't keep up with the motor.

You can see these numbers are pretty high, especially with the numbers I'm trapping in the quarter. I'm assuming they're using the standard equation for correction factor. I guess it's good I went on the dyno after going to the track. I might have been disappointed with my trap speed. I'm not complaining though. I really wanted to see the power curve. I added a degree of timing up top on the last run to get the extra 7hp.
And just because we all like em, here are a couple pictures.
And here's my 12.05 run. You can see how the boost drops after every shift looking at my boost gauge in the middle. I think I can net 11's if I can nail down a good launch and keep my foot on the gas between shifts.
My next plan is all cosmetics. Reupholster my leather seats, get new carpet, and give it a good cleaning. I'm moving to the Pacific for a few years, so she'll be going to sleep until I come back with an R33!
Cheers,
Chad
