I'm looking to do something new with the interior of my car not just the average paint and lights I wanna do something off the top has anyone done something unique to there car that makes it stand out ? Maybe even minor tweeks to the exterior too I'm up for any advice

Not exactly rare, but new seats (brides come to mind) and new LEDs for the whole cluster and dash would really be a big change. Nothing neon, but a bright frosted white emanating from everything would look clean. Carbonetics does some really good looking carbon fiber work for the interior. Dunno your style but that's my input. If you have money to blow and redo your seats, lights, and console/cluster upholstery, you can't go wrong. I've even seen people redo their instrument panel as a whole (not exactly easy or cheap though) and replace it with a whole new unit. Makes a big difference :)

Need custom brackets for the Evo seats to fit. I had Wedge Engineering make mine for my FQ300 edition seats. Came out good imo.

I did suede trim for my door panels.

Do they sit any lower than the stock 2g seats?
Not really, I'm 6'0" and I can't wear a helmet in the car without doing the gangster lean. After what I've learned, I'd probably go with a shorter bracket.

The Bracket is a tad tall

I had to make one hole slightly larger for the bolt because it wasn't centered properly above the thread on the car.

Sometimes less is more. Get yourself some nice oz rally black leather interior for the best look. Leds, painted plastic and other "original" add ons look extremely tacky imo.
I agree with this. EVO seats and a black interior looks fine, stock appearance is the best.

I chose to go a little more subtle, went from 3 gauges down to 1, shift light hidden in the vent, sensors/modules in the glove box, went back to an OEM shift knob, interior converted to LED etc.

I used to think it's cool to have turbo timers and boost controlllers and gauges everywhere but that's pretty cheesy on a street car IMO.

Visor delete = weight reduction? :D

All I've done other than swap to black interior parts is I changed all my gauge and switch lights to red from orange, added a steering wheel from a 2003 Diamante VRX, and installed an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

And one day, I'll have this gauge cluster operational.

Once I do get it working, I probably won't have the lcd part working. It displays tire pressure, outside temp, and a bunch of other things. Although I may need to have it working now that I think of it. It does have a digital odometer. I don't recall if it has a digital speedo though.
