Anyone have any other info for contacting Ecmlink other than their website contact info? I found this email linked to a post on here mailto:[email protected] but haven't heard from anyone from there... I originally contacted them to buy a v3 kit could never get a response nearly 3 weeks ago still haven't heard from them now I need to order some other stuff I.e maf harness and EPROM socketed ecu but no replies yet either only been a few days for that and I contacted the above email this morning just wondering if you guys have had any issues or know a way around?

Me either as of now I don't even know if they are still in business. I hope that is not the case because I need a new cable. I might have an extra 1g eprom available though.

I may be willing to take that EPROM ecu off your hands if I don't here from them soon I tried to solder my own socket on mine but think I screwed the ecu up getting the original off not sure where the connection break is but it no worky

My buddy just got his V3 in the mail from the yesterday. They're still in business. They're a small business, I'm sure their just busy, give them some time. Maybe send them another e-mail, or from another e-mail you might have, sometimes things get sent to the junkmail folder. It happens to me at work from time to time.

I have tried everything contacted now 3-4 times on their site listing multiple emails I have 3 I check my junk folder everyday because I work retail I get a lot of important crap in my email that gets tossed into the junk folders and then even pulled a email from this site to contact them... I'm at my wits end here if I don't get a response soon I don't know what I'm gonna do they would already have 600$ of my money if they would have replied to an email before now I had to second hand a dsmlinkv3 just to get one now I need the other stuff to finish my build and no responses again. But ill keep trying it's been a month already

Thanks Chump-a-lumpa-umpa-whatcha.

Yes, we are most certainly still in business. In fact, we're some how busier this year than the last two years! I'm easily answering 30-40 e-mails a day and from the sounds of this thread, there are still some I'm not even getting! Ugh. There's no way I can answer any more...

Anyway, yes, please drop us an e-mail directly at [email protected] because I suspect there are some messages getting hung up in this new "validation" process certain domains have implemented. I've caught several like that in the last couple months and I'm sure there are more happening that I don't see. It's basically a check that certain domains (like aol.com and yahoo.com) have implemented that prevent third party sites (like ecmtuning.com) from sending e-mail that looks like it came from that other domain (just like our "contact us" form does).

So, basically, when someone uses our "contact us" form to send us a message, our site creates a message that looks like it came from that sender (so that I can just hit reply when the message comes in and reply directly back to the person) and then our mail provider (google) asks that other domain whether such a message is allowed or not. Apparently some of these domains have started saying "No, that's not legit." and google has been silently redirecting those messages to the trash folder.

I thought I was catching those but perhaps not. If someone with more experience in this mail setup crap would like to offer some advice, I'm all ears. I haven't had time to go research the proper solution yet.

Until that gets resolved, you can instead just use your regular e-mail client and send e-mail directly to [email protected] and we'll certainly get that!

Sorry about the hassle. It'll get resolved. Eventually.

EDIT: FWIW, I just sat down to find 39 new e-mails in my inbox that I haven't had time to answer today. I'm starting through that list now (at 7:30 PM), but I don't see any from "denvario" based on a quick scan of my list.

E-mail received. I'm back up to 39. :)

Actually, now that I have your e-mail address I can see what happened and, in fact, your original attempt to contact us was from a yahoo.com e-mail address and it did get caught up in this 550-5.7.1 DMARC policy thing. Ugh. And looking back now I see about 30 other such e-mails back to mid-May when I last did this scan that I've missed as well.

Seriously, this system is busted. This sucks. How is this not affecting every single "contact us" form out there!? Maybe it is and nobody has really started complaining yet.

Yea he really is a great guy. Glad he's so busy. Means he is doing well :) Unfortunately there's a lot of stress and running around like a chicken with no head sometimes in that situation and things can get kinda hectic. Any updates planned for Link? There's pretty much everything you could want and more in there already but you still continue to amaze us with new integrations.
