Sorry for my english it's not perfect as my first language is french.

So at the end of winter 2016 i dicide to buy a project. I wanted a turbo car and i wanted something not too expensive. I'm in Quebec/Canada si i knew i would have to repair rust all over the car and there is a lot on that one i found. The first owner got the car stolen then retrived. The inside was stripped all was left is the driver seat and the steering wheel. So yes i have some trouble with a few part inside the vehicule as well but i pay less than 2000 bax for the car and he gave me for about 400$ of brand new spare part and 200-300$ of used inside and outside spare part. The guy who was the second owner and the friend of the first one had the crank change since it had walk and he had change the turbo but didnt upgrade just put a new stock one. The alternator is supose to be new but all of this was made aroud 5000km ago but it took 4 years to drove those 5k km so thing that are low milage can be not so new since the are a little old. Me since i buy it, I changed engine oil, clutch oil and coolant fluid and i put a new battery in. now Its almost summer so it's time to put some money in the car. I will get rid of the rust and build some new part to replace what cant be repair. I'm not trying to make a 10s car but something that will be pleasant to drive around with friend and that i will be proud of. But of course it have to be able to do some 1/8 mile from time to time fot the adrenaline rush that it give me.

So first i planning on having it street ready. There is a driver side rear wheel bearing that make noise so i'm changing brake and bearing at the same time since i will have them right there in my face.
second thing will be having it dress properly so i will cut all taht rust and put some new metal no im not putting some new part since they are expensive here in Quebec.
Third thing is clutch and cam since i already have the cam stage 2 and the clutch start to annoye me at high RPM and gear dont always enter their place corectly when the car is running...no probleme when the engine is off.
Fourth thing to do is turbo upgrade for the big 16G with front mouted intercooler and fuel pump.
When i have some time somewhere between build i will put a nice racing steering wheeland a white dash cluster and i dont know yet the color the car will end
 
Here are some picture of the car inside and some from when it was stolen they did a pretty good job at puting a new inside for the car. Only one thing i dont like taht much ias that mix between original non-leather seat and the leather front and back seat to replace stolen one... But it is for me a nice project. I did try it on the 1/8 mile drag strip but i had a crappy reaction time and with that i shifted too soon (about 600rpm too soon) and the 3th gear didnt want to engage so i finish my frist time on a drag strip with a 9.7s

I had some time to kill after finding my ecu and finding thst its not flashable so i instal my new cluster...just have to found how to plug it right so it glow like its supose to...

Yes i buy it in miles but the car is in KM that why i change it homemade

Have some new picture of the dammage under the car. I changed the brake on 4 wheel but i will need to buy some rear brake back plate. And i srew upthe purge srew so will need some too since its realy hard to stop fast with air in the line. And by the look of it i think my intercoolerhad some bad time so i will need one of those front mounted intercooler.

So for those who wait for update im sorry i dont do them often but im still working on the money part of the project hahahaha... But for real im waiting to hace enough money in bank for when i open the block and check for new piston and anything else that need to be changed. Here a little picture of my new shift knob

I love your Dragon Ball shift knob. And your doing some amazing work seeing those before pictures of the car from braking in to now is really exciting
