I have a '96 Talon TSI AWD auto. Just putting it back together with a rebuilt head. This car has the cam angle sensor on the driver (timing belt) side of the engine. I am now putting the valve cover back on. I understand the "half moon" seal goes on the front half of the passenger side of the valve cover. I am now left with a large approx. 1" hole in the valve cover on the rear (intake side). I can see threads in the end of the camshaft. What goes here!?? The valve cover I am using is from another 2g, but I thought they were all the same?? It looks identical to the one that came on the car.

Awesome, I appreciate the help! I wonder why my master gasket kit didn't come with one!?

I just installed this plug. It looks like mine may be sitting a little deeper than a few of the ones I've seen pictured on the internet. Is there any harm in that?
