Ok so currently my car is set up with a gm maf in the draw through set up. I'd like to change it to blow through (seems like a better option to me) the car idles pretty well right now. So my question is will I freak the car out by moving it? Will it be measuring a different amount of air then it currently is?

Can be draw through or blow through doesn't matter, amount of air is the same .
put between bov and TB if you want to vent the bov

May have to tweak tune by a click here and there but should be the same, and will still run if you blow piping off, still need to boost leak test so turbo isn't being overworked to maintain boost levels

The GM MAF is very sensitive to where and how it's mounted. Some report just rotating it in blow through required tuning adjustments. I can's say how much it will impact you but be prepared that it might.

Ok cool I can deal with some tuning the car needs a tune in general just don't want to change it and be like ok now the car doesn't run LOL.
