So I'm driving home and I go to change gears and the clutch pedal goes to the floor. I changed clutch master and slave cylinder. Bleed them and still didn't work. If I pump the clutch with my hand I get pressure but goes away once I let it go. I'm so confused at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

I bleed til I didn't see air bubbles with a helper. I even gravity bleed it and topped off the resovoir 2 times when I gravity bleed it

Also the clutch sometimes felt like it didn't wanna come out of gear before this happened.

I was thinking I need a clutch but I was told the clutch wouldn't have effect on the pressure in the clutch pedal, that the clutch pedal pressure is in the hydraulic system.

98 Gst?
You changed the slave yourself?

When you changed the slave, did you inspect the slave rod, clutch fork and pivot ball?

You're sure there's no fluid leaks?

Cause if all of that checks out, then you'll have to pull the tranny to fix it.

Edit: Steve beat me by a few seconds LOL.

I watched the slave it moves and moves the fork. But no pressure.

If I pump the clutch at a fast rate with my hand it gets pressure and will hold It until I let off of it

So that means I need to adjust the pedal? Or problem in the trans?

Bleeding a master is always a pain in the ass. There's always a bubble of air where the line goes into the master. I use a vacuum gun in the bottom of the resevoir and pull a vacuum on it and pump the pedal. It works everytime for me when I have pedal problems after a new slave or master

If you usually have the pedal set to disengage the clutch at the very end of it's travel, then adjust it to disengage higher. You may need to move the upper pedal stop (cruise switch) higher as well. You should have free play at both ends of the pedal travel. There needs to be a little let out before it grabs, and there needs to be enough at the top to uncover the relief valve in the MC.

Make sure there's no air in the system.

Someone told me I gotta replace clutch. But it gets pressure when I pump the clutch fast with my hand. That just means I didn't bleed it correctly?

Try bleeding with a vacuum pump, you can rent one for free at most parts stores.
If that doesn't work, then there's a physical failure under the bellhousing. Maybe pressure plate, maybe fork, yada yada.

Getting pressure by pumping the pedal rapidly means jack squat. That's what it should do in every scenario except a clutch line fluid leak, major MC failure or blowing the rod out of the SC.
