Hi I was talking to a shop about getting my car fixed (92 eagle talon tsi) and he said I should remove the mass air sensor. Is that OK I thought that was kind of important it has throttle position switch any thoughts.

Throttle position and mas air have nothing to do with each other. No you cannot just remove your mass air sensor. Make a post describing your problem

That what I thought. It ran for a year so I don't think I will go there. And one day it just would not start. It cranks has fuel and spark so I was going to get it code red

Yes I took it to one shop and he said the computer had been flashed and could not be read I tried the computer key but it did not work. I can go and try to start it and sometimes it fires right up other times it just cranks.

Yes it will come on as soon as you start the car. (When it starts) sometimes it won't come on but as soon as you go to engage the turbo while driving it will come on.
