So I'm gonna be installing an mtx-l wideband here shortly and I was wondering if anyone has or if its even possible to remove the factory oil pressure gauge and put the wideband in its place?

My factory oil pressure gauge is dead, thought it would be slick to have the WB right there instead of a dead needle

not mine, but some people have done some interesting things:

This is what I want to do. But I think you should replace it with another oil pressure gauge.

I've also seen someone put a gauge in the cluster trim. I plan on doing that too!

I just wonder if it messes up the gauge cluster from working correctly RPM and MPH gauges to work w/out all the little check engine /brake/ seatbelt etc etc from staying on.

Or use jumper wires in place of the ribbon circuits.

I have a 2 gauge pillar pod with boost+oil pressure. Don't like the look of the 3pod. Prolly should've just went that route. Maybe someday I'll get another cluster to mess with. So I don't destroy the original

It can be done.. ive done it in my other car with tach and speedo. If done right it can look pretty nice.
