New wheels from XXR. These are the XXR 557. I have never seen them on any car and cannot find any pictures of them mounted at all. I think they look dope and unique. I can't recall seeing any other style like this either and the way they are powder coated are nice, I just wish they offered a single drilled option. Any thoughts? (I know XXR's aren't the greatest wheels, I have had good luck with them so I don't mind them.)

Sort of, yes but they are a proven Ebay brand. Lots of people run XXRs from BRZs to EVOs. They are a decent wheel but somewhat heavy. IMO, they are simply affordable.

Good call by lazyboy. Those would look very much at home on a mildly modified 280z. But you should ignore me anyway because I personally dislike black wheels and the blacked out look generally :idontknow:

Hey man its your choosing everyone gonna hate LOL slap them on it you like em

I'm actually looking at getting a set of the 557s in 17x8 +35mm for my 1g. I like the lip on them, and the thinner spoke that don't protrude outward then dive back in makes them appealing to me. I just wish they had 16x8's. Now I just need to find out if the 17x8 will fit in a +35

17x8 +35 will fit a 1G, you won't have to worry about hitting the suspension but it will poke in the front and be flush in the back. That size might rub depending on what suspension you're running, but I think you would be good to go.

Thanks man! I may wait on the wheels, but I appreciate the info :thumb:

They would look good with the right width and offset. I hate to be THAT guy, but avoid getting fake wheels and save up for some wheels that have research and development behind them.
