S2000 antenna mod

I'd like to replace my power antenna with one from a s2000. I know I need a non power base but after that will I need to modify anything or will the s2000 antenna screw right in. I searched all over but couldn't find a straight answer. Thanks

Anyone? I know this mod is popular. If anyone could help get me headed in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated

This is what i have been able to find, as far as sizes go. Although if you need a base anyways, why not get one from an S2000 and make it fit your car?

Thank you for the picture. My local junkyard has plenty of 2g eclipses with non power antennas but zero s2000s. My concern is that the threaded stud on the s2000 antenna isn't long enough to grab the threads in the non power base.

If you are ordering just the antenna you can take it to the yard and try it in a base. Just let employees know that you are taking it in so you don't have to pay for it again.
