Guys i think I almost have this heater core out but I cannot get the radiator hoses off the firewall attached to it! how do you get these radiator hoses off? I move the clamp all the way down the hose as far as I can I still can't get them off those houses are like glued on or something--- HELP

They can really get stuck on there from heat and corrosion. Spray some PB blaster on there and let it soak in. Try some rubber tipped pliers and a heat gun too if it's really stubborn.
What is BP BLASTER? Thanks for the advice I appreciate it

Could always cut the ends longways and remove hoses that way. Heater hose is really cheap and depending on what conditions those are they might have to be replaced anyway.
Yeah you might be right I might have to cut them off but they're $20 each and mine are brand new just had them replaced but thanx for the advice!!!

"BP BLASTER" is what happened when that oil well blew out few years back :)
What ErikTande mentioned is "PB Blaster". It is a type of penetrating oil that can be got pretty much anywhere. Comes in a spray can that looks like something out of 70's catalog ad.

You could use any penetrating oil you prefer, they all do same thing anyways. Usually prefer WD-40 though, especially when it comes to installing hoses since that stuff dries rather quickly and leaves nothing behind, therefore there is less chance of a hose slipping off.

Ok got hoses off and heater core out putting it back together now..Omg what a pain
