I was just about to order a fuel filter from rock auto, and I noticed several manufacturers differentiate between FWD and AWD. I'm pretty sure I used Fram G6553 on both. I realize most manufacturers make 2 versions, one OE style and one with the universal type bracket on the outlet, but I don't see how there's a difference between FWD and AWD. I realize this happens a lot on rock auto with things like control arms when there is no actual difference, and I found a Purolator fuel filter for $3 but it says "except AWD"
