Why DSM needs a matching Front Differential w/ the rear Differential? I've read you "can't" use a EVO 1-3 gearbox with DSM 3.54 diff or auto 3.30, neither a DSM gearbox with a EVO 3.90 rear

Could someone put a link to a thread with info please

then why pull the trans?
sounds like you dont have a problem
it probably has a dsm front diff in it already
i personally have done this swap, its out there somewhere there is probably many around
The only part changed a while ago was the center, so I think that have the 64teeth diff

if you had turned the wheels and count rotations, you would know without pulling the trans, or rebuilding it.
oh well
its very easy to swap diffs
whole diff with the proper matched pinion gear, dont ever think you can mix and match differential gears!!!!
you can with your drive gears but never ever with differential gears!!!
awd mirAge?
nice
i have a 93 awd thats sitting with no drivetrain

How many rotations?

the front and rear wheels are 1 to 1 ratio to each other if your frontdiff/tcase matches the rear diff
mark each tire and the ground snd turn a bunch of times
5, 10, whatever. if you do ten turns and it still matches your definately good

No! they didn't match after 5 turns, rear was at 12 O'clock & front 2 O'clock. Anyway I changed the 64 teeth crownwheel, I just need now put back all together etc, thank you
