Turns out there was a TON of rust..
New tank!! :)
20140913_094305_zpswobu1wig.jpg 20140804_192639_zpsrd8vwkke.jpg
The rust was like sand, there was so much
In the tank, that pic isn't half of what was in it. Great at least I knew the strainer works.. until it's smothered which explains the problems it had.

Alright, so after the gas tank went on all was good, walbro wasn't loud anymore and the car ran good. Found some BC272 Cams and fidanza gears for a good pricw so I snagged them up and installed them. 20141104_213229_zps1rwrssvb.jpg

That's currently how the car sat for a while,
cx20g
bc 272 cams
fuel lab afpr
safc II
Greddy BOV
Greddy turbo timer
2.5 exhaust
new radiator
new gas tank
walbro rewied 255
prosport oil, boost gauge
innovative wideband

well then I found a deal of the century PTE 6262
20141109_203749_zpsibobpobd.jpg
20141109_215202_zpssd6iilmt.jpg

wouldn't believe it cost me $100.00
yes that's one hundred dollars needing a rebuild.

sat on that turbo for a while, picked up some of the good stuff
Screenshot_2015-06-04-05-28-01-1_zps6593e34a.png
had some fun cruising IMG_20150527_192655_zpsc7c98957.jpg
IMG_2900_zps4fe2be64.jpg

shortly after that, acquiring a t3 manifold, exrternal Watergate, and a rebuild, I decided to throw it on and see what happened, I was deploying very very soon and thought well if it goes ill rebuild when I get back bigger and better. 20150223_211508_zpsvrrvwzkb.jpg

I didn't realize how much of a PITA this process was going to be.. I had an ebay o2 housing and it was total total crap. I bought a ton of stuff to install but the compressor housing was too big, bought a slim fan, still, had to buy a exhaust manifold flange.. it was turning into a headache.

I knew I probably wouldn't even spool this and be very restricted but I wanted to go through it anyway..
20150202_140515_zpssmkhfkdt.jpg

and that was one of the biggest pains to deal with, haha . 20150223_182319_zps0ftcr8ln.jpg

well after realizing this wasn't going to work I got in touch my buddy up north, told him my issues and he said he'd trade me straight up. he had a gt30 direct bolt on , on his high hp 2g. so I did that, came with everything I had, except he didn't give me the feed line.. the ones I had weren't holding oil, so I bought other ones from extreme psi, and those didn't work either, looked online at what I though was going to work per some forums and went out and bought a banjo type bolt which threaded in, very, very hard.. on and off the turbo went as I experimented with the different lines... until I had him over night the original line... I didn't originally grab it (dumb mistake) because he fed from the head, and I ran from the housing. .lots of oil and coolant in and out.20150227_113742_zps6d965ybd.jpg

Curtently have a knock off greddy BOV on because during a BLT the real greddy was leaking.. its a pretty penny for the rubber piece..ill wait...and that's where everything is halted. I ended up having to leave.since gone I've ordered a ton of stuff, which in listed on the mods list. I wont be back until November sometime so everything should be up to date by then..im going to look into a flash tune for now, and bigger injectors but it'll be a project when I get back , it wont be a daily anymore so that's a plus. eventually ill pick up dsm link, but im still learning everyday even while gone. that's mostly all I can remember about the car. some small things may not be in order but those are all the big events ive had. When I get back ill figure out the turbo deal.. hopefully a helicoil will do the trick.. we'll see.
hopefully this thread has been entertaining. and a learning experience for some, because it sure has for me! and this guy 20150227_092903%201_zpsuzfelzdh.jpg

OK, I'm finally back. And rolled it out and let it run for a minute,
20151029_123947_zpstpycywt9.jpg
So I get to start playing with the car.

The first things I did was suspension.
20151031_114539_zpsvxfdat0e.jpg
I Removed the old struts and springs and replaced them with the Megan coilovers I picked up. Rears were super easy. The fronts on the otherhand wasn't as easy but not too difficult. I over thought removing everything up front and was stumped on getting it out. But eventualy after cussing striped the threads on a sway bar link on the driver side, so I picked up a new one. At the same time I threshold on some EBC slotted rotors in black, and some EBC green stuff pads. And cleaned up my wheels.

While it was up I drained the oil and added a magnetic drain plug, and OEM filter.
20151031_111259_zpskqiuy4lu.jpg
I rolled the car back into the garage and disconnected the old fuel filter completely. Once that was out, I removed and EGR related items which was a little pain in the ars.. then i installed the new block off plate.

Continuing while alot of items were out of the car, I installed the new TB gaskets (which later found to have a vac leak. Will post vid) and BISS screw and then MAF and MAF-T.

I drained the coolant as well and installed a Mishimoto thermostat, and installed the Mishimoto coolant temp sensor adapter because I wanted to keep the factory one for now

Glad to see it's still yours, I see a for sale add on her a few times a year. Should meet up again.
For sure, I wanted to sell it for a boat but decided to keep. I spent so much money on parts I may as well make it a garage queen for now. But yes we should get together, I'm still waiting on the fp3065 to be fixed hopefully.

After I got all that on I was able to get the driver mount on, since it's the easiest. I rolled it out for a minute to crank it up, sits a little higher then before but it's adjustable so I'll worry about that later

Currently working on the passenger mount and then the rear one. But we'll see when I can get to it. It'll be sitting for a few days. Hope that turbo will come back soon and I'm able to slap it on. I picked up an FP 4" intake pipe and 9" K&n air filter to complete that, and a Hallman pro MBC. But for now cheers and I'll update when I can! This is its current state

Bought myself a daily, 2014 f150 XLT, , lots of goodies so the DSM can be taken slowly. ive roiled it out again a few times, got all 4 AVID mounts on, nothing leaks besides the oil drain, which I didn't plan on having that turbo back on so it's been cut and hosed together. When I get the new turbo on and drain it should be gone. Fuel line leaked at first start but it's because I didn't tighten the fittings but that was addressed.

Here are pics of the cars
