I moved the 02 to where innovate recommends, used their bung etc... o2 lasted the last couple weeks and then when I set my target fuel from 15.8(on e85) to 14.7 i got 30 miles down the road and it went bonkers on me.. and error-ed. There is no reason i should need to target 15.8 to keep my 02 sensor alive..... any ideas?

In another thread, didn't you say that innovate said it's because of the oil leak damaging it? If that was you did you get that issue fixed? I have my mtx-l in the front o2 housing and haven't had any problems out of it.
Thats what they blame it on yes. Hoping so. We tear down friday

i'm asking you to explain what symptoms it produces? does the gauge shut off ? give erratic readings ? what ?

It starts with erratic readings then turns into an e8 code after some time. It works flawless when its a new one then goes wonky as time goes on. But it basically goes flawless to crap almost immediately once it begins

Just pulled my 02 and it looks like a rich mixture but afr is 14s to 15 at idle and never below 12 on wot...

Not sure what gives

sure does look rich. my scg-1 just randomly resetting power while cruising the other day. checked all the wires, they're good, wondering if o2 sensor would cause this, even after ONLY 220 miles of run time.

This issue still hant gone away. I have change valve seals and turbo seals. Cleanest exhaust comes out of the pipe but still going wonky every couple days. I dont know what else to do. Parts stores keep getting sick of warranty replacing them.

Any ideas very appreciated

Try cigarette lighter circuit instead?
Im going to wire directly to ucu with a relay this weekend. I highly doubt wiring is the issue but who knows. Here is another thought I have and let me know what you guys think. Its not a solution other than it will keep me from not having closed loop to drive home on.

Im thinking about wiring the wb into the egr input on the ecu and then putting the NB back in the front so it can control closed loop again and I am not dependent on the WB front o2 sim. that should work with out a problem i would think right? That way if the MTXL o2 goes wonky Ill still get the o2 pulses need to idle properly.

I agree with this, putting in the NB front O2 while still operating the WB in the rear O2. Always best to have 2 systems rather completely dependent on one. Although i'd look into wiring it to the ECU in pin 12 or 25 as suggested by Innovative. Here is the link to the ECU pin out

I have the same sensor and down-pipe placement and have been on E85 for a month, randomly would get E8 error but has since stopped. Not sure why E8 disappeared, but I still notice the AFR's to be erratic at idle, although it's still at 14-15. It was very smooth before on pump, not sure if this more erratic idle reading affects anything on throttle as that is a solid smooth reading.
