I already have a auto but I'm swapping everything to a manual shell in better shape. My question is what did you do about where the shifter cable comes up through the floor. There's no place for it to come up in the manual shell. What have you guys been doing in this situation. It's not a round hole so I don't know if drilling would do it. Lmk what you guys think

If this isn't a daily driver you shouldn't have to worry about it. If not I would measure the hole and order some cheap rubber grommets off of ebay, cut a hole in them, and slide it over the cable and push it into the firewall. I did something similar for a battery relocation if that makes sense.

If you're not keeping the other shell, why not cut that floor section out and weld it into the new shell?

Just a hunch, but probably because he doesn't want to deal with stripping the teeth off of the gears, broken shift rails, grinding gears, and constantly going through transmissions? Or because he prefers drag racing, in which autos reign completely supreme? Or possibly, maybe, because he simply prefers automatics?

OP, Derail20T had it right, route it through the firewall hole and just purchase a rubber grommet that fits the hole, and just cut an x into it so the cable goes through.

Yeah no manual for me. I'll I'm doing is swapping shells so I have all the auto stuff already. Yeah cracked, that's what I ended up doing. I actually used the same grommet from the auto car that was in the hole in the floor with some creative cutting.
