The guy that sold it to me said that he got it from his friend BUT it did not fit his car since his is automatic and it came off the stick shift (both fwd). Fyi i paid $110 for all that.

Perhaps they were trying to install it like oem, where the exhaust goes over the rear cross member, when in actuality the Apexi exhaust are designed to go UNDER the cross member. Whatever it was you got a good deal!

Wish I could have found a deal like that when I ripped my exhaust off trying to go over railroad tracks! Ha

Both FWD (automatic and stick) uses the same exhaust all the way out.

Only the FWD from the AWD are different, no matter if they are auto or stick.

I know and thats why i was thinking i got crossed BUT then i found the original apexi (from the comparison pic) and tought hhhmmmmm maybe they just HAD NO CLUE how to instal it.

Fake or real i hope my mechanic can make it work and instal it on my car.

Should be a bolt on affair bro! Super easy, I used to take mine off to run only dowpipe and loose some weight at the track :) I loved mine till the muffler got a hole and pucked out its insides. Sounded like a real fart can after that haha.

Make sure the adapter/reducer comes off (that may be part of the reason why the seller thought it wouldn't fit). The downpipe is made to bolt directly to the cat-back without that piece.

Good stuff, thanks guys.

I found a "small patch" on the back of the exhaust, hope that is not going to rain on my happy dance parade :(

Damn nice dude, i don't think the people that sold it to you knew much about DSMs. They should've known that only FWD and AWD differ when it comes to exhausts, not if they're automatic or manual. Either way nice find man! :thumb:

pipe there.

Thanks guys, i will take it to my dsm GURU at AUTOMODZ in St. Pete and let you know after the instalation.

BTW if anyone is local or close to Tampa Bay, AUTOMODZ is THE BEST place. Seth (the owner) is not just knowledgeable but truly eager to help out any way he can.

BOSSke I'm actually 2 counties over from you in Lake wales. Do you have the number and address for automodz?
