I feel pretty confident in my parts selection but feel the need to share my build list as the machine work on my head and block is almost done.
Car: 90 tsi 6 bolt 35k original miles
Goal: 700-800 awhp, but will probably be limited to 550-650 with current turbo.
Engine:
2.0 build
Wiseco 10.5 1400 HD E85 series pistons .010" over
Manley Turbo tuff rods
Kiggly main griddle
Arp mains
ACL race bearings
stock crank, magafluxed and polished
Ported head
kelford 272's
kiggly beehives
1mm over sized valves/ new guides
AEM cam gears, I will degree cams
oil port mods on head and block
arp l19's
oring head with receiver groove on block, copper gasket
fluiddampner crank pulley
JMF race SMIM
s90 70mm tbody
Turbo/exhaust:
brand new FP black
FP cast manifold
3" buschur DP and cat back
Punishment racing open dump o2 w/ mvr 38mm wastegate (still need to buy)
IC:
ETS race 10" IC (still need to buy)
will make my own piping how I like and get powder coated
Fuel:
working on pluming -8an feed and -6an return right now
AEM fuel rail
aeromotive afpr
FIC 2150's (still need to buy)
single 450 or dual 255's?id like to build fuel for at least 800 for now (still need to buy)
tuning:
ECMlink v3
SD conversion (still need to buy)
Any input before I start putting it together in the next month? I also have an Orbit oil pump, which I don't know if I should trust. I will probably break down and buy oem. or should I swap to straight cut gear? need to research this more.
If I made 650awhp on this fp black id be the happiest dude in the world, anyone on here well into the 600's?
Down the line if this becomes a dedicated drag car im going auto, 6266, 280's etc...I will like to see what I can do on a more street friendly setup first though...
again any input is very appreciated.I drive an evo x that im trying to not blow up yet, and 350awhp is starting to get old...
