Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone has any input on this product. I would like to buy a boost gauge that's accurate and I like a lot of the features it has.
In the future I'd like to run ecmlink and be able to log everything. Anyways if you have used this let me know how it worked for you. Good bad or ugly. Thanks

At my shop we put glow shift guages on a supercharged mustang, they are crap. Readings are always off. Stick with aem and innovate they work best. Remember you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Boost gauge is gonna be accurate as long as it's mechanical. Sure, some are crap from the factory but otherwise i wouldn't worry about a boost gauge so much.

I'm using their oil pressure gauge with the sender unit and really don't want to run a mechanical gauge. I plan to either get rid of the oil gauge or put a mechanical unit on and test them to see if they match within a few psi.
But as far as the boost goes you're fine running a glowshift. I ran one and will continue to use it with the new build.

I liked the way they would look and compliment the interior.color options were very enticing. Price isn't the issue. I am thinking of going with the aem eugo wideband. Looks like they just came out with a new setup that utilizes a boshe 4.9 oxygen sensor.
Anyways bottom line it sounds like everyone is having accuracy issues. Dsm4life-awd, how were you measuring how far off the gauge was?

Decided to hook 5 boost gauge that we had in stock with tee on the line. Regulator of the compressor was accurate when setting max pressure to 20psi.
They where all showing the same psi except the Glowshift.

Did that test with an air compressor ... Not in the car if it wasn't clear ... ;)

Well, out with the glowshift! Thanks for the info. Damn. I'm going with a more traditional/trusted brand. Sorry for the mis info OP.
Since you didn't buy it yet then def don't. I hate seeing a pressure guage somehow be junk?! I mean, that's about as simple as it gets. Their QC is probably bad, which means don't buy em.

Well that's a let down to say the least..

No worries boost97gst. I was looking for personal feedback. Thanks for sharing!

OK so I know aem is a popular brand and I like the wideband they have. Does anyone have any other recommendations for a quality boost gauge? Something that is compatible with ecmlink? I want to buy the gauge soon. Also if you know a great vendor at a good price I'd link to support them :thumb:
