Hey everyone!

I just picked up a "Stock" 98 GS-T Spyder. It is a little wonky in that I believe the vacuum lines are not correctly connected.

I am not looking to do anything but keep this car running and driving, but this is all new to me. I am looking for local help (I am in Solon) to check and put back all the hoses to their proper stock locations.

I am willing to compensate someone for their time, and would really love to be shown so that I can learn.

Prior to my acquisition the car was at a shop for some work and my guess is they didn't quite get this all back together properly.

A local DSMer! yes, the breather on crankcase draws vacuum from the spot you have pointed out. not sure what is there now... maybe goes down to the charcoal canister? but then the one above it has to go somewhere... maybe the other end of one of those is just dangling...?

No idea and can't easily follow it. I guess I will need to throw it up on jack stands and see what I can find.

This is a 2g vacuum diagram it dose not show the hose you asked about but you and gmain are right from the factory the hose goes from the crankcase to the intake tube for the turbo. I would do what your doing. Go from the intake tube and trace it with your hand and see if you can tell where it is going. Post back if you can find where its going too. Checking the rest just requires tracing all the hoses and see if there going to the correct places. I"m not super familiar with the 2g set up but from what I've seen it is close to the 1g one with slight variation. I would be willing to meet with you sometime if you have questions. I'm in mentor.
