i just rebuilt my head and had my car down and sitting for about 4months, started putting her back together and now my car cranks but wont start, have spark, compression was 150 150 160 170, my AFPR reads 0 with ignition on. my pump is working, theres fuel to the rail, and some fuel comes out of injectors. i checked the continuity at my clip, and was getting a reading of 90.1 ohms..... spec is 2-3 ohms. and im getting 10v DC with ignition on, not cranking. anyone have any ideas? i did do a wire tuck and had to snip some wires and reconnect them, to untangle the harness. i did not touch the injectors though. any ideas on the causes of this??

i deleted my cruise control, cut the harness connector, and elec taped the wires. could that be the issue? i didnt pull a fuse or anything after that. just left the wires in the harness, taped off.

can you jump it and it work? if it works, look at your mpi relay and make sure the crank sensor is plugged in. if that isnt hooked up, the ecu won't turn the fuel pump on

well i didnt unplug the crank sensor, and it does not start even with a jump. i have a brand new battery in it too. and i know the pump is kicking on because there is fuel at the rail.

fuels at the rail but no injectors working?
just checked again, undid passenger side line from rail and cranked 5 times and this pic is the result. i hooked that back up and undid fuel rail, leaving injectors and clips plugged in. cranked and not a single drop of fuel came out. continuity at the plugs reads 2.3-2.4 ohms as spec. someone please chime in who can help.

are the injectors not spraying a result of no fuel pressure? or is the no fuel pressure a result of injectors not spraying?

using a multimeter on the injectors, they should read around 16 ohms in 200 setting. if they aren't firing at all you have a cam sensor, injector resistor or ecu problem. odds of them all being bad is very slim. low fuel pressure can also be a dirty fuel filter and bad fuel pressure regulator. if the injectors test out good then go test the cam sensor. in my 3000gt, it goes from 12 volts to 0 volts. this may not be the problem, but its something to test. we have no shraeder valve so we cant test fuel pressure

and as you can see in the pic my fuel dont look too dirty, if it was a bad fuel filter wouldnt it be alot dirtier looking? also where is the fuel filter located, because i do have a new spare i could swap out just in case.

ya. 12-0-12-0-12-0. that signals the ecu to fire the injectors. but as he said, low voltage will be an issue

its just a few things to try. you can test the ecu injector circuits with a miltimeter. but 10v sounds low

Before you go much farther, charge the battery up. The ECU isn't going to do anything if the voltage to it falls below 8v.

It would also help to know which car this is.
