Hello I have a question the car miss fires and sometimes the check engine light comes on he says it's because it needs a tune because be put bigger fuel pump and bigger injectors so that's why it misfires? I went to a test drive it drove fine and starter fine but it did cut out. He has it set at 7psi he said but I though it would hit a lot more harder then it did. It has rc 550cc injectors walbro 255lph fuel pump 16g turbo any help would be great I was thinking it mite have a turbo leave because it wasn't hitting very hard

Obviously it has a boost leak only getting 7 psi. Check the vaccum hoses and caps see if any are leaking or dry rotted.

He has all that stuff done to without a dsm link? it and he says he only has it set for 7psi he's asking 1400

Couple of suggestions:
  • Run a CarFax before you go look at it. A small investment for a possible nightmare. You can also ask about some incidents should the owner not divulge "everything". After all, they are trying to get rid of a car.
  • Ask the owner if they wouldn't mind performing a compression test to get an idea of the engine's health. If not, then ask if you can perform the test to see for yourself while also checking the spark plugs. If they oppose, then a red flag goes up.
  • You could ask for the test drive to be done on waste gate pressure to see how it handles boost.
  • Ask before hand for permission to have the test drive to an auto parts store to have the codes checked. This way, you can confirm out emissions CELs.
  • When you complete the test drive, leave the car running a short while to see if the car is overheating or not.
  • Check the oil before and after the test drive.
  • Check for leaks under the chassis before and after the test drive.
  • Bring a car jack to lift the car up to check suspension/steering components/bearing play.

Its not going to run correctly on anything other than stock injectors unless you have a way to tune it for them. It could have boost leaks or just need new plugs and maintenance. Keep in mind that this is a 25 year old car, its going to need work and if you not prepared to work on it or learn how to work on it than look for something newer.
