Hello all, I am in the process of picking up a 1991 Plymouth Laser RS for dirt cheap. The problem is the ECU was stolen out of the car is why the guy is selling it. Was run/driving perfect before that. My problem is being new to this make and model I don't know "exactly" which ECU I need.
Its a 91 RS 2.0 AT non turbo all stock.
Best I can find through extensive search is possibly 4g63, but with so many sub-identifiers im lost.

Any help would be appreciated as to which one(s) will work.
Thx

The differences I know about are small code changes. The only oddballs I can see are ca cars. If memory serves there is no auto 5spd difference in nt cars.

Awesome, thanks. Luckily the one I ordered before I saw your post was the right one, but was good to know for sure.
Another quick Q, is the laser obd0 or obd1?

Ok so the ecu is in, but what plugs into the 3 extra yellow connectors coming in through the firewall?

Ok its sent. Thankx a million
Looks to me like the tcu , your cars auto Right? Nvm I see it is LOL, your tranny won't work with out the tcu in there

Yea sadly I ordered an ECU because thats what the seller said was stolen. So when I went to put it in this morning, I was like uh,wait, its still there. Should have looked more closely first. So now i have extra ecu and no closer to back together. Bah!

I have looked all over the internet and found info on which tcu's they came with, but does anyone know which one will interchange with the 750093? Just need the thing to work.

Ok, So ive determined this transmission is shot. Will a 1.8 MT bolt up to a 2.0 4g63. Not interested in turbo or anything. Just need it back on the road.
I know Ill will need the flywheel/clutch stuff for 1.8 and the shifter/slave/tubing etc.
Will I need anything else? ECU wise? will be non turbo.
