Hi guys..

first of all, thanks to all who helped me with the issues posted on my first thread.
i'm not sure exactly but i think the OD in my car isn't working. The OD off light switch doesn't come on in the dash, and the switch doesn't seem to do anything at all.
well main issue is, OD doesn't seem to be engaging. i know there's many threads about this issue and i have searched but nothing relevant to my issue.
the engine revs at about 4000 to 4500 RPM going at about 120 KMS. haven't gone any faster yet. just feels like its revving really hard. maybe its because the GST has a 4 forward as apposed to my other car, 2009 Lancer EX which has a 6 forward triptronic.
anyway, if i switch OD on or off, going down the highway, nothing happens. on the dash or from the sound of the engine. i have read about the end clutch issue and read that if it the end clutch, the car will go into Neutral. after 3rd gear. mine doesn't do that. also read about the 4A/T fuse issue and checked all the fuses which seem to be fine. none blown. cant figure out what the issue is.
if anyone knows a fix, Please help...
Thanks in advance.

i removed the shifter cover and checked, the switch is physically sound. looks perfect. i sprayed some contact cleaner in there anyway. how do i check if its un hooked?

Ya same here i foung the wires for the light not connected to anything it looks like it plugs in to something but where? I think the wire to the light is a red and black wire?

You could always check your switch I have heard of them going bad. Get a multimeter and set it to continuity put one lead on each wire should be 2. Then hit the switch if it beeps while in or out then stops when you hit the switch the opposite way then your switch is good (unhook the switch first of course) also check your pulse generators for ohm readings (resistance) you can search on here to easily find the info. Look for "test pulse generator"

What mods are done to your car?
You can destroy overdrive by getting on the throttle in it
My dad did one pull in his car and it killed the over drive.
