Man you don't know the half you should have seen them at the track they were totally ballistic. I missed a shift and bogged on that run LOL its all good though they can say whatever but when I started trapping consistent 139mph passes they refused to line up with me. We were tickled to death.

Well I entered the street car in another race event and I am very happy to say I took first place in the ga 1/2 mile shootout this weekend in the fwd class. Thanks guys for all the support given on these boards:D. I was feeling out the track on the first pass and had boost set to 33 psi managed a 157mph. The very next run I turned the boost up to 40psi and didn't complete the run, although the car was pulling way harder than the 157mph pass, the reason, I was so excited that I slammed 3rd gear and broke the 3/4 shift fork this took me out for the day. I will be doing this 1/2 mile thing again in September its so much fun! here's a video of the 33psi pass I will also post the 40psi incomplete pass when I get the video uploaded later today.

I cant believe you freight trained that stang!
Yeah The mustang owner said that everybody kept asking the same question what the heck does the guys have done to that eclipse LOL. I was running street tires and from a dig the car wouldn't hook up worth a flip, the stang was taking advantage of my traction issues but once she caught some traction it was lord have mercy. I spoke with that guy after the race and he said that he knew he had the race until my boost kicked in. I told him na the boost kicked in as soon as I left the starting line. He then asked me what did you do at the end, I said caught traction LOL. Unlike the hellcat owner all the v8 at the ga 1/2 mile was given the eclipse much respect. It turned out to be an awesome event.

I just got word yesterday that red demon will be running in the sponsorship class for the ga 1/2 mile event coming up in September 12th and 13th. The mountain elevation took about 10MPH off everybody's speed is what I am told from some of the same people that ran in the Florida 1/2 mile event. fastest car on Saturday went 201mph and Sunday 202mph. Ams alpha omega something gtr. Underground racing lambo didn't run after he saw what the higher elevation was doing to everyone's speed. Next time I am running the slicks.

We went 167mph with an open diff last year at 6100ft elevation and 9600ft density altitude with our fwd. If you really think you are losing mph I would love to see you run at our elevation. The only guys we heard complaining as the cars run what they run was the English racing guys who all lost 10mph coming from California.

We race in three weeks and if all goes well will have a real number to post. Going on the dyno tonight with our half mile/mile car.

There were numerous cars ranging from 190-210mph regardless of the altitude here. Sounds like a higher class of cars in the rocky mountain region.

Yeah my first time I have not a clue. It was humid and hot 92 degrees maybe that could have been it. I am looking forward to Sept event. I am really digging this 1/ mile thing for sure it's lots of fun.

What part of Georgia is this event? Im 2hrs from the Georgia line. If its not to far will have to come out for the next one and watch.

Dag you are right. I saw an opportunity with the temperature in the mid 90s , no a/c and the high humidity, to show off my hulk like apperance got as much attention as the little eclipse did. LOL
