Hey guys, I have read quite a bit of posts on this subject but I still am not sure whats going on with this turn signal problem. My friend and I recently picked up a 1990 dsm which has it's completely own wiring harness for just about everything. The turn signals would all come on (on the dash and the lights outside) but not flash. The hazards would light up all 4 corners but still no flash. So I changed the hazard button/switch. It didn't fix it. I also replaced a relay above the drivers side fuse box, that didnt change anything.

Yesterday I removed the Blitz turbo timer and the jumper harness. I re attached the stock harness back together. During removal of the harness there was a yellow wire that was part of the blitz harness that touched metal and gave me a nice spark. I tried the hazards and turn signals and now I have nothing. No flashing no lights. I checked every fuse under the dash. None where blown.

So I am stumped. I plan to go back across the wiring on this car as some of it looks like a hack job but I couldn't find anything completely broken or out of place. I really need to get this resolved because the car is a daily.

After everything I had read I still couldn't properly identify which relay was what under the dash or which was the flasher. I just know which one the blower motor relay is cause it shut off when I pulled it out. All the other posts I kept reading said it was by the radio but on a 90 its somewhere else I think.

:ohdamn::D:beatentodeath:I figured it out. After taking out all the BS wiring from the gauges. Turbo timer and putting the stock connectors back together under the dash. I checked all my fuses under the dash, all good. Replaced the stock flasher relay. Checked under the hood. The flasher fuse was completely gone. Replaced it. I turned the flashers on, they worked but still no turn signals. I took the stock turn signal fuse out under the dash. Cleaned the ends and now I have signals. I feel dumb but im glad it was an easy fix.
