ok i have it tdc all the marks are good, the lifters are bleed but i can not turn the motor at the crank and even when i have the belt off and try turning the cams with a wrench it was very hard then i loosened the cam cap bolts and it was easier to turn but seemed like it was still too much effort. so i left the bolts loose on the cam caps put the belt on put gave it tension with all the marks lined up still couldn't budge it at the crank. the crank spins easy by it self. anybody have an idea?

Pull your plugs out and take a look down in the cylinders beat you can sounds weird like somethings hitting piston. Doe oil pump spin free?

oil pump spins freely spark plugs are out and i know the valves are not hitting the pistons

Check the cam caps and make sure the arrows are pointing correctly and are in the correct order.

they are all good can the valve springs be bad? maybe there is a bent valve ill check it tomorrow i pulled the head off going to check it

Feels too hard....I have to ask you, you do know how difficult it is to turn a motor right? Cams dont turn that easy either when youre fighting valves. History please. Is this a fresh build?

ahh might be the ticket i put my old 1g cam caps on the fresh 2g head could this be the problem making the cams hard to turn?

Cams caps was the problem I put the ones that came with the head on it I don't know why I switched them LOL its now in time and cams didn't get damage thanks a lot for the quick responses much appreciated
