So my friend was helping me tighten down my alternator yesterday, and he got a spark off the alternator from the wrench on accident. I started my car this morning to leave and I couldn't roll my windows up, use AC, no interior lights worker besides the dash. Radio also didn't work but the headlights did. I went to turn my headlights on and as soon as I did my worn went off and stayed on I had to pull my horn fuse and now my headlights are stuck on. What's wrong with my car? Did the alternator spark blow a fuse or is it a worse problem?

check all fuses first. you may have damaged the ECU. see if you can borrow one from a friend or try and find a matching one from a junk yard. if it was just a spark, i doubt you melted any wires or caused some sort of major physical damage. its probably one problem, find it, fix it and it should correct all the issues youre having all at once.

I actually did this by accident the other day. When you touch the terminal on the alternator, the 100Amp fuse for the alternator blows. It's in the upper left-hand corner of the fuse box. You'll have to change it. All is well after that.

By the way, it looks like a blue square and may not appear to be blown at first, but it most likely is.

Lastly, if you don't have a spare fuse box laying around like I did to source your fuse, your auto parts store should have one.
