It looks like you took the guts out of the headlight so it no longer will function. Is that correct?

How did you cut it out? I've wondered myself what guys usually use to cut the plastic.

Im in the process of making mine for my 98 GST from my old fogged pair of lights (prototype) and I used just a small dremel cutting wheel. you just have to take it slow on the plastic and make sure you use water to cool the cutting area as you go if not you will just melt the plastic and have a hot melted mess around the cut area LOL

Thanks for that info, Im planning on doing mine this weekend with a little spare time I have. I'll take it slow and make sure I cool it with water. Im going to try and replicate @zer_0 headlight.

I love this design. The one im doing now is just the round hole. cut out the high beam light but still have the low so the lights will still work at night. But I might try cutting this design into the drivers side light just for practice and see which one I like better before transferring to my good new lights LOL. Thank you for posting the pic.

Here's mine for track days. I left the turn signal so it's still somewhat legal during the day. I usually just switch it in at track, but somtimes before. My filter sits nicely behind it.

Anyone know where zer_0 got the little plastic scoop on top the headlight? I wouldn't mind trying his style on my spare set.

Here is my ram air headlight for my 2g…
