Every block is different, crazy to think how some of us are so stuck to our ways of '.040 is the MAX' without looking to see how crazy far some other platforms have gone

OP, it looks like you have a course of action, but yes you can go .060 on these blocks, it has been done successfully multiple times.

Now where I would get the willy's would be using that big of a piston on a stroker and turbo build. Its that much more of a slug and surface area to be throwing around on the end of the rod.

If it was a stocker 2.0 build (one that would just see daily driving and little top end rpm's) I would go .060. Or if it was just a straight strip, low mile, purpose build, I would do it. But for your set-up I would just get another block (as you said you were going to do).

I just didn't like some of the info being bantied about. Good luck with your build.

Cruising through the forums for the first time in a year or so so here's an update! Haha

Block is .060 over with custom Wiseco pistons. Been running those for 2 years or so now I think on a s25g on 20psi no problems. Car barely gets driven but they do have around 5000 miles on them now and everything is fine and dandy.
