Thanks, guys. Hope to get this car back up to it's former glory, and then some.
Thanks for the link. Hopefully they actually have it LOL

Yes! Ahaha. I hope I never, EVER break another door handle, aha, but it seems very likely. These things are pretty flimsy. Poppers actually seem like a really good idea! I would never have to worry about handles again.

Side note. I have 2 CEL codes, 1 for the MAP sensor and one for the fuel pressure solenoid.

So I didn't realize I had a small package In the mail. This little guy

Replaced and no more CEL, for that at least. Now just 1 more to go, I just need a fuel pressure solenoid.

Nice, love the valve cover, worth the price for powder coating... or is VHT?

Thanks! It's VHT. I love that stuff! Works great. You're pretty much limited to what you can imagine. I've done one VC with very limited wrinkle, others with a really heavy wrinkle effect and even made a purple VC that came out much better than I expected.

Been on my car for almost a year, no chipping or anything. Very good stuff.

I look at it this way, I can spend a hundred on powder coating or spend thirty on materials and do it myself.
Not that I have anything against getting it done professionally, I just enjoy the whole DIY process.

Well guys, long time no update.

Here's a current picture of the car. Just so guys know i didn't dissappear or that the car is no more.
I'll have a long list of updates hopefully in the next week. Lots of work and lots of typing/pics.

Thanks a lot, guys. Still plenty left to do.

Yes! Definitely. I have to get rid of that "bling bling" around my windows.
I also want to get my tint removed. For the drivers side window. Waaaay too dark, can hardly see at night.
I want to do both driver/passenger in a lighter tint.

Off eBay. It's the "Cupra" lip. Just search it and it should pop up. Don't bother ordering from "Volks tuning" (or "volx"??) They have it listed, but don't have it on hand. Ask me howni know
- __-)
Waste of time.
I was told they wouldn't have any until late march.
Order from AutoHaus24. Cost a couple bucks more, but they actually have it.
