2G Newbie from the Philippines

Wohoooo first post!

Hello everyone, i have an old 2G Eclipse gst. It has been with our family since '97 but has only accumulated 40,000 kilometers. Despite this, it's in bad shape overall and I'm planning to restore it. I've decided to keep it stock for now and focus on maintenance and repainted.

I'm excited to learn more about my car and hopefully contribute to this site in the future.

Had my intercooler cleaned and just bought a k&n cone filter. Rpm while cruising got higher (3k @ 100kph) turbo lag got worse!! :confused:

Wow, nice mileage to be honest. Hope it all works well for you. I do have a question though. Are those vehicles rare there as well?

@xstrat33 , yes it's a rare car here. People here prefer modifying a Honda SiR, Toyota 86 or a Subie STI. I've been having a hard time looking for some parts and just import or fabricate.

One thing I realized tho... i can't resist keeping my dsm stock!! I ordered a Dixcel slotted rotor and type M pads. I'll post a review here once i get it done.
