I know, this topic has been covered. I am curious about how to properly set up coilovers (stiffness in front and rear) to absorb and keep traction during an awd launch. I'm hoping people with experience will chime in. I have read that some adjust the rear with lower spring rates to a soft setting and fronts to a stiff setting. I am shooting for 10 to 9 second passes this year and want to set up my suspension correctly to not blow axles due to it being too stiff, but dont want it bouncing from it being too soft. I am on megan street coils. Thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Soft in the front and low. And stiff in the rear higher. Thus keeps the weight over the front tires and keeps them planted as u launch stiffer rears keeps the back from dropping and lifting the front. Most of your power will be delivered up front which is where u want it

Be careful as stiffer rear springs will increase load on the rear tires. This may out may not be what you need, but usually some rearward weight transfer is preferred.

I've noticed some fast guys go softer and get sone squat (like evil eagle) and others liked jeff bush seem to run stiff

Thank for the input. I was hoping more people would have jumped in by now. I will have to do more research. Im looking for a good street, roll race, drag setup.

Here's a crappy slo mo video I made a while ago you can see Ted green car with the stiffer setup and Hines white one run a softer rear spring
